An Easter Poem

Anyone familiar with the ministry of John Piper of Bethlehem Baptist Church and Desiring God may know that his infant granddaughter, Felicity Margaret Piper, died stillborn on September 22, 2007, not long after the death of his father, William Solomon Hottle Piper. Felicity's father Abraham, John's son, wrote a poem that links her death simply and elegantly with the hope of eternal life in Jesus Christ.

Drink this in, brothers and sisters, and revel.

"Death is swallowed up in victory." --1 Corinthians 15:54 (ESV)
