An Easter Poem

Anyone familiar with the ministry of John Piper of Bethlehem Baptist Church and Desiring God may know that his infant granddaughter, Felicity Margaret Piper, died stillborn on September 22, 2007, not long after the death of his father, William Solomon Hottle Piper. Felicity's father Abraham, John's son, wrote a poem that links her death simply and elegantly with the hope of eternal life in Jesus Christ.

My church family has a new venue--and it doesn't require grounds maintenance!

I'm pleased to say that my first post at this blog announces the creation of a new blog for Heritage Baptist Church. Heritage of Faith is a new blog, edited by my brother in Christ, dear friend, and co-pastor Steve Ward, focused on the building up the body of Christ by recalling the rich heritage of grace into which the Holy Spirit of God has brought us through the sacrificial, atoning blood of Jesus Christ.
